Web Applications Programmer
Start Date: ASAP
Est. Duration of the 1st stage: 3 months
Type: contract-to-hire
Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.

Description:
Our Client is a government organization
Responsibilities:
• Perform full life-cycle web development activities
• Responsible for resolving site and application problems
Requirements:
• Software development, installation and modification experience in online environment (3 to 5 years)
• Web interface and graphic design experience (3 to 5 years)
• Development of Web object oriented business systems using Ruby/Rails, Java/JSP or ASP/.Net as a core responsibility (2+ years)
• MySQL
• Experience utilizing Oracle on Solaris platform
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Extensive use of CSS
• HTML – XHTML and XML
• Javascript
• Object, Database, and Process Modeling experience
• Understanding of Model/View/Controller design approach
• ADA Compliance guidelines and rules
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related program area of study or equivalent experience
